Frankly, this 'chew' is more of a treat for my aging, former working ESS gundog, now 16 with weak back legs. She wolfs them down, so no problem with the taste! I hadn't expected her to manage daily walks as this age, as I have to lift her her body up from the lying position sometimes but once up and she collects herself, she happily (tail-wagging) ambles to the door, down the steps and around the garden. She does sometimes stumble going up the steps, so a helping hand needed there too, but overall, I feel this product has given her an extended life with us and as far as I can tell from body-language, pain-free movement.
