As someone who has been mixing up my own cocktail with individual raw BCAAs, I can tell you that taking this is SO MUCH EASIER and more pleasant! I find the taste VASTLY better and even refreshing! That being said, if you're comparing this to other products with sugar or crap sugar substitutes (ie. sucralose, maltodextrin etc.), it's not going to taste amazing. If you've tried straight unflavored BCAA's you'll understand just how absolutely disgusting they are. Truly, I have a very high tolerance for natural, unflavored or earthy tastes, but it was all I could do to choke down the straight BCAA's until I had used up my 3:1:1 blend. I decided to try another flavored blend and gave this a shot. I'm very pleased! It's amazing how well they've been able to mask the TERRIBLE taste of BCAA's. I've now tried both the pink guava and passion fruit flavors and passion fruit is much better tasting to me. This combination is 2:1:1 of the big 3 instead of 3:1:1 like I was taking before, but that's ok. I take this 3 x per day to keep my metabolism humming, give me energy to power through my workouts and make sure my body is maintaining and even building muscle mass while in a caloric deficit. So far so good! I really appreciate the stripped down and high quality ingredient list and the fact that they haven't added caffeine and haven't fortified it with vitamins or anything else. I like to supplement each vitamin etc. individually, so I was really happy to find a BCAA blend that is stripped down. The fact that it is vegan is a bonus! I also like that I can add other powders (L ascorbic acid, L-Glutamine, DMG, moringa powder etc.) to a scoop of this and the flavor is enough to mask the additional powders also. My only complaint is that the price is quite high for the small amount you get. That being said, it is currently a price I am willing to pay so I don't have to gag down any more plain, unflavored BCAA's. Any reviews that dock stars for taste in my opinion have never tried plain BCAA's or have only ever taken mixes that include sugar or terrible sugar substitutes. No, it doesn't taste like a slurpee or kool aid, but for BCAA's with clean and minimal ingredients, this TASTES GOOD! TRUST! I sincerely hope this review has been helpful to someone else!
