We adopted our small pup from the shelter almost two years ago when she was a little over a year old. She was barking a lot. Tried reprimanding her with tone of voice many times. Didn't help. Have tried different brands of anti-bark collars to no avail. Saw this on Amazon. It had great reviews, so I had to order it. The first time Punkin barked I pushed the button. She was immediately quiet and spun around wondering what had happened. I also said calmly, "No barking." The next time she wanted to bark it was a low grrr so I pushed the button. She was surprised and quiet when I told her no barking. She's quiet most of the time now - except when she sees deer walking across our property.(Sometimes six at a time!) I push the button then and she quiets immediately. What a relief!
