Single or 6-lead EKG in your pocket!
I have been using Kardia using the original (coupled thru the microphone) sensor for 18 months now. It has been extremely valuable to monitor my heart function. I have had PVC'c (missing or added heartbeats) since 2003 when I went thru chemo. It has been a problem occasionally where I would have to sit down to keep from passing out. During these times I sure wished I had a EKG with me to find out just what my heart was doing.
I bought the original sensor and It has proved invaluable to track exactly what my heart rhythm was doing and what caused the erratic beat. I have taken literally hundreds of EKG's during this period. My cardiologist would look at them and read the EKG to help diagnose what was occurring.
When this sensor was announced I bought it immediately. It does both the 6-lead and the original single lead EKG. It connects thru Bluetooth and is immune to noisy environments. Turns out I still do mostly single lead as I can read what is happening pretty well from that.
I have not found any of my devices which do not work with it, and none are on Karida's list of those which will work. Mine have worked on both of my ASUS Zenphones (3-zoom and 5Z), my old iPad and my new Samsung Galaxy Tab S5Z tablet. I just went to the Google Play store and downloaded the Kardia app. They all worked perfectly.
I carry this sensor around in my pocket and take my EKG before, during and after after exercise. I can tell if I am dehydrated and can follow the effect of exercise on my heart function (It is getting stronger). I now know that caffeine causes my heart to have a LOT more PVC's so avoid it totally.
If you have any concern about your heart this is what you need. You can really see what is happening just as if you went to your cardiologist. But anytime, anywhere. I cannot recommend it any higher.
