This water bottle is exactly what I've been looking for! I hate the taste of water that comes out of metal bottles, and I don't trust plastic bottles anymore. This glass bottle is PERFECT. PROS: -Glass makes water taste MUCH better than drinking out of metal or plastic, and water stays colder longer -Mouthpiece is also glass, so there are no tricky plastic straws to clean -Silicone sleeve is protective AND REMOVABLE (so you can clean the entire bottle and nothing gets stuck under the sleeve!) -Flip lid is easy to use (seriously, you just need one hand. I have tiny hands, and even I can do it, so this would be easy for even children to use) -Locking mechanism on the side can be slid into a "lock" position, preventing the lid from flipping open when you don't want it to -Silicone sealing thing in the lid helps prevent leaks (see pictures. In one picture I've removed the silicone ring so you can see it. It's easy to put on and take off for cleaning, and does a good job of preventing leaks) -Convenient carry loop is made of fabric, not plastic, so it's more comfortable to carry when you loop it around your fingers -EASY TO CLEAN! This bottle is dishwasher safe! CONS: -This bottle is pretty heavy compared to traditional metal or plastic water bottles of a similar size. It's not unmanageable, but if you're going for a long hike, you might want to bring a bag or backpack to carry it in, as holding it the whole time will probably get annoying -The glass is still very much glass, so if you drop it on the wrong surface or from a bad height, it will break. This isn't surprising to me, nor is it much of a con in my opinion, but you just have to be a little more careful with this bottle than with a plastic/metal one (obviously) Overall, this water bottle is already amazing, and if you're looking for a way to drink water that doesn't taste like metal/plastic, this bottle is perfect. Just be aware of the fact that it is glass, and be prepared for it to be heavier than the bottles you're used to, and you'll be fine.
