I bought this light for use as a tactical flashlight. I wanted a strobe function for close-quarter armed conflicts. Being deployed to Afghanistan, I cannot receive lithium-ion batteries in the mail, so I opted for the 3X AAA battery option. The light actually came with a lithium-ion battery end-cap adapter as well as the AAA battery adapter. This is a plus for two reasons - You have the option of the 18650 lithium battery for extra-long battery life and AAAs (commonly found everywhere) in an EOTWAWKI / SHTF situation. The programming mode is a great function. I set it on strobe before I go to bed and dim light for walking around (avoiding mud puddles). The focusing lens is high-quality. You can even focus it down to where you can see the square diode on the wall. While focused for wide dispersion, the light intensity is evenly distributed. This is the first tactical light I have ever purchased that came with extra o-rings. It also came with a belt holster, light-dispersion cone, wrist lanyard, and the two battery options. This flashlight could be sold for twice the price and it would still be a great deal. I will definitely remember to check out Vizeri for my next light purchase!
