I thought I'd write a review because I've had this cutting board for about 2 years, so I can offer a little insight regarding wear and tear. I use it probably 5 times per week and I'm afraid you're only going to get a couple years out of it. During those two years, it worked great, but it's starting to warp downward in the center. This means it tends to pivot at the center and move around. This can be resolved by putting a washcloth or towel under it, but that's a nuisance. Also, the whole center area is stained orange pretty badly. I think this is probably from things like slicing seasoned chicken breasts hundreds of times. I have one other complaint and that is the grooves are a bit shallow. It's fine 95% of the time, but you are not going to be able to slice a big roast, carve a turkey or anything like that without juice spilling out all over the counter. It sounds like I'm being mostly negative, so I'd like to counter that by saying it's one of the best I've ever used. Note that my complaints are pretty minor and mostly due to heavy usage over a long period of time. If you use any cutting board a lot, it is going to get beat up and you are going to have to replace it. Not a big deal, considering the price point. Is it the best I've ever used? No, but the best one I ever had was also $[...] and also only lasted 2 or 3 years. For the money, is it the best I've ever used? Yes. Would I buy another one? Yes. In fact, I am buying another one right now to replace it.
