My wish came true in this phone!!! I loved the LG 840G, but the AT&T network was not adequate, and even after replacing it with a CDMA Verizon phone, I longed to have the LG 840G back, although I knew the network wasn't right for me. Then, I learned of an updated version of the LG 840G, (in a CDMA phone), this LG 305C, and I have to pinch myself that I have it!!!!! If you DO NOT WANT A SMARTPHONE, yet enjoy the capacitive touch screen and the look of a smartphone, then this is the way to go. The triple minutes for life are a bonus. You can print a user guide from the NET10 website, (simpler than other links I found that required downloads). Make sure to print just 75 pages, (1-75 for English, 76-156 for Spanish), or you'll get both languages and waste a lot of ink and paper. If you DO NEED the AT&T network, there's a twin called an LG 306G. Neither has screen savers or cases yet, so I cut a screen saver to fit, using the protector that needed to be peeled off the screen as a template. (Dollar tree sells larger screen savers for i pads, etc. that can be cut to fit) I picked up a pouch to slide the phone into, at BIG LOTS for $1.50. It said it was for larger phones, like the Blackberry, and was branded "CHAPS". Make sure, if you make your own screen protector, that you do not cover the proximity sensor, (upper left corner), like I did, or the screen will black out before you have time to enter your code on the dial pad to retrieve voicemail messages!! Cut the opening, (upper left corner), larger than it is on the plastic protective piece that it is shipped with, to avoid this problem. Texting is simplified by a virtual qwerty keyboard that you can access via a drop down in the upper right corner, when you initiate texting. If you find Smartphones way too invasive, or just don't like them for whatever reason, this is the closest you'll get with ALL OF THE GOOD STUFF and NONE of what you do not want! GOOD LUCK AND ENJOY!!
