Beat Out 5 M&C Brands in Blind Taste Test
Amazing cheese taste, not too salty and nothing wierd in it. This cheese beat out 5 other mac and cheese brands in a blind taste test. Overall it had the best cheese taste and textrue, without being too salty. Annie's Aged Cheddar Shells had a smilar taste, but was much more salty. The rest of the competitors including Field Day, Annie's Mild Cheddar, Annies Original White Cheddar Shells Pirates Bootywere bland in comparison. You need very little of this cheese powder mixed with whole milk to make a thick, rich and creamy sauce. The package contains roughly 2 quarts of cheese powder, and it took approximately 2 tablespoons to make the equivalent of one box of mac and cheese. That means one bag yields roughly 64 boxes of mac and cheese. Annies currently cost $1.50-$2 per box, making this well worth it! Something to keep in mind though, it takes a while to use up this whole bag, and the instructions say "best if kept refrigerated". Though it doesn't require refrigeration, given how long it'll take to use it once it's opened it might be a good idea to save fridge space for it.
