I love this item! Helps give best blow out ever, however if you dont want to dry you hair out I recommend not using till your hair is almost dry. Even on low the inner part of it (metal) gets extremely HOT! I have a lot of very fine hair and tho shiny it was breaking off!? So I get it almost dry then I start using the wand to style. It gives a beautiful shiny blow-out. The next day light ly mist your hair with water then blow dry again. I personally use a product that protects your hair from heat styling.
