We've gone through several different brands and models of these types of water bowls over the years, and the worst part is always cleaning them. No matter how good the filter, they always need a good cleaning on occasion. This one is my favorite by far. The design is simple and attractive, I was able to assemble & have it working in less than 5 minutes, and it is very easy to clean - minimal parts & easy to disassemble and reassemble. Oh, and the cat loves it as well.
