For the longest time, I couldn't figure out why my dog kept scratching his ears/head! I thought it was just a regular itch at first, then figured out he had an ear infection/inflammation, but even after treating his ear infections, he kept scratching his head. It finally occurred to me that maybe his scalp was dry, even though there were no signs of flaky skin or anything like that. I had just given him a bath not too long ago, which usually seems to soothe his skin for awhile and relieve any itchiness, but this time the itch seemed intense, and it just WOULDN'T stop! He would scratch INTENSELY all morning and all night, and even kept checking him to make sure he didn't have fleas. After trying this product, his itch has pretty much stopped completely and he seems so much happier! Other reviews mentioned softer fur, which I also noticed immediately. The smell is strong initially in the bottle and during bath time, but about a day after, I can barely smell it and within a few days, I literally can't smell the product at all and can only smell my clean doggo! (Not a huge fan of the original shampoo smell, it kind of smells like cherry flavoring to me, but oh well). Will absolutely be buying this again when I run out. My pup is a 9 year old Shepard mix just for reference, though I can't imagine that the product would work differently on any other type of dog. Please try this for your precious pup!!
