I go over the different sounds, how loud it gets etc. If you are choosing between this and the Dohm white noise machine, they are both fairly great but this one gets louder then their Dohm machine. I love that I do not have to worry about batteries! We can easily recharge it in our car, on our laptop or wherever. It can get really loud for when you need that extra loud noise and it can get really low and soft as well. We are about to have our third child and we've been using white noise since our oldest girl who is now 5 was a newborn. This little portable machine can pack a huge punch and get your baby falling to sleep within minutes...even seconds for us! With newborns being so use to the womb its helps to help continue that transition on the outside. We also use it for our older girls ages 5 & 2 to hide any nosies that would wake them. We live in a small apartment so we don't want a door creaking, toilet flushing or cabinet door opening to wake them up. This machine helps with that and much more! Highly recommend!
