I received this pillow as a gift (it was on my Wish List). I was shocked and a little dismayed with the pillow when I first picked it up. My husband and I each have 4 expensive, cushy down pillows. This thing is like a thin slab of concrete when compared to those. I still can't get over the weight of this pillow. It sat on a couch, unused for a couple of weeks. One Sunday afternoon I decided to catch a quick nap. I grabbed this pillow since it was handy and laid my head on it. I was asleep within minutes! When I awoke, my head was cool and dry. I have always had a problem with waking up with a sweaty head. I also noticed that I woke up in the exact position I was in when I went to sleep. I normally do a lot of tossing and turning. I have not used another pillow since that nap. I can't believe how quickly and easily I fall asleep at night. It used to be at least a half hour of rearranging and punching pillows before I could fall asleep. Now, I'm fast asleep within 5 minutes.
