This review is after using 1 entire bottle daily 1x/day. Skin age 42. Consistency of serum is light & goes on thin. No tackiness or shine. I found this to be perfect for layering on other serums (i also use Ordinary’s niaminicide & retinol serums). This formula also didn’t interfere with sunscreen (Tizo) or make-up. Overall, serum did a great job of absorbing & allowing me to use other products without it feeling cakey, tacky, or shiny. After 1 bottle, I found spot/discoloration fade (for darker spots) & completely go away for the lighter spots as well as smooth out rougher texture of skin around my chin/mouth area. I had areas of irritated/dry/inflamed skin (corners of mouth) that would never respond to humectants & this serum calmed and smoothed this skin. Fine lines didn’t appear that improved (only somewhat), although the added hydration did help & I have noticeably softer & smoother skin. You still need to finish up with humectant creams after using this serum for best results. I was surprised how much improvement my skin had w/such widely available & inexpensive ingredients. I have tried other more expensive skin care lines and none have resulted in such smoothing, tone-evening, & brightening like this one. For deeper wrinkles, retinoids are the gold standard (get a script for that), but for overall smoothing, brightening, & hydration boosting, this is a must in your skin care arsenal.
