Super sharp screen and so comfortable to wear.
I currently have owned a 1st gen Huawei Stainless Steel smartwatch which has served me very well over the last few months. I wanted something that was more water resistant that I can wear while running or doing outdoor actives. I was very excited to get the Huawei 2 smartwatch. It has many differences when compared to my first Huawei, some good and some bad. The watch itself is fairly large and about the same size as the gen 1. There is a difference with the screen. The Huawei 2 has a 1.2-inch circular AMOLED display 390x390 pixels with a PPI (pixels per inch) of 326 which is covered by Corning Gorilla glass. My first gen stainless steel Huawei has a 1.4-inch full circle AMOLED display 400x400 pixels with a 286 PPI (pixels per inch). Don't let the smaller screen on this watch fool you. It has a much higher pixels per inch which really shows. Some of the watch faces I have tried look absolutely stunning. They are sharp and have bright, vibrant colors. Many people have told me that my watch is so clear. Setting up with my android phone was super easy. It only took a few minutes to have everything paired and my google account linked. Now about that band that it comes with. The Huawei 2 has an amazing black silicone band that is extreamly comfortable. I can easily wear it all day without any discomfort. I have even slept with this watch on without even knowing. Their next version should have a sleep monitor built-in. That would be great feature. The Huawei 2 lasts two full days with normal usage vs my 1st gen only lasting 1 day. This is because of the Huawei 2's lower power consumption and larger 420mAh battery. The gen 1 only has a 300mAh battery. I really like how smooth the watch runs. It uses Android Wear 2 which has so many functions I do not even know where to start. One I really like is it knows when you are stationary for an hour and tells you to move around and do some stretches. I also use a app that reminds you to drink water which is something I do not do enough. Overall it is the best active watch I have ever owned.
