Got it because I was offered a promo on it. I'm very happy that I did. The tank filled up within 6 hours of my first run. It's way cheaper to run it to bring the humidity down in your home, than the whole house a/c for a two story home with 1 zone. In addition, you wouldn't want to run the a/c when it's cold outside. I'm not easily amazed, but this thing blew my mind. There either was so much water in the air at home or it's magically a water fountain :-). I also used it to dry out the water damaged carpeting in a Prius. No more stink! yay! It's high capacity would also make it suitable for attics. One thing that could be better? The 'Comfort' mode should be settable on what humidity percentage I want to maintain. It randomly comes on and off. No bad, just saying, would be a nice-to-have setting.
