Worked for a time but needs to be stronger material
Worked pretty good at first. Definitely slowed down our cat from eating too quickly and making her throw up. Unfortunately food gets stuck in the little nooks and crannies and in an effort to get to every last bit she ate most of the mat. I would not use this if your cat is exceptionally food motivated. Perhaps if one was made of something a little more durable.
