I actually ordered this because I had a problem with those pesky silverfish in my house. I read the reviews and thought: No way I'm eating this powder that kills bugs! That's gross! So here's my story: I generously sprinkled this stuff all over my carpet - like tons - with the intention of vacuuming it up in a few days (why not? I live alone. No biggie). I didn't really understand the people that warned me about the possibility of it ruining a vacuum cleaner. Ruin? Really? That's silly. And then.... I kid you not... the powder started shooting out through the top of my vacuum and the dust was EVERYWHERE, all over the house, in my eyes and lungs, really really bad. The vacuum stopped working after that. Ugh. Did it kill the silverfish? I think so. I then spent a good 5 hours cleaning my house, and put the bag of DE in the garage. 2 months later... for some unknown reason, I decided to read the reviews of this product again. I read all the raving reviews about health benefits. And yet, I still couldn't get myself to put this "bug killer" in my body. But one reviewer changed my mind... and so, I went out to my colossal sized bag and put a few cups into a jar and brought it in the house. That was yesterday. I took one teaspoon with water and waited (waited for what? To die? To get a stomach ache? I don't know, but I waited) and.... nothing happened. Hmmm. Then this morning since I was still alive, I did it again, but this time with 2 teaspoons. Still... nothing. A few hours later, I noticed that I could lift my left arm over my head!!! Now, you're thinking "so what", right? It's a big deal because I haven't been able to do that in about 3 years (I have a partially torn rotator cuff). Now I can lift my arm? That's amazing. And that's on Day 2 of taking it. So... I plan to take it for about 2 weeks straight and then see how I feel. I'll update this after my experiment is done. :)
