I have tried a lot of different brands of boy shorts lately due to a medical problem and these are by far the most comfortable. They aren't bulky, and don't have a seam up the back to irritate like most other brands. There is also no seam in the crotch area--thank you! I did order one size larger the second time I ordered but the initial pairs also fit, just a little snug. Also these come in nude, black, and white unlike other brands that come in really garish colors. I machine wash warm and delicate, dry on low. So far no shrinkage problem. Also better made than other brands--not see thru or flimsy. I am old enough not to worry about using feminine pads, but I am posting a photo of the panty crotch since some may not like the horizontal orientation with a pad. That would be my only criticism. Overall a good choice if you need a non-irritating panty.
