When searching for compression cubes I came across these. A little less expensive than the others I was contemplating I thought even if they don't compress well it's still 3 cubes for $20. When they arrived I immediately tried them out...and love them! I was able to fit: Small: 1 heavy cardigan, 1 skirt, 1 long dress Medium: 5 t-shirts, 1 tank top Large: 2 pair jeans, 3 pair shorts, 2 pair long athletic pants It was 2/3 of the clothes I laid out for an upcoming 10 day international trip. They fit very well in one side of my 19" international carry on with room to spare in that side. They were very easy to use, just roll you clothes, zip up the compartment zipper, then zip the compression zipper. One thing I quickly learned, if you over fill them before compression, it makes it a bit difficult to compress, but not impossible. When using the compression zipper it was really helpful to press in the fabric then zip to help keep the fabric out of the zipper. I only got the fabric caught once but it was very easy to remedy. A note on clothes: I wear a women's small in clothing. I was able to put 4 cotton men's large undershirts (the thick ones) into the medium one no problem. All in all I plan on ordering more for the boyfriend's luggage as well.
