I use this for sticky stuff like honey,peanut butter, Crisco shortening, etc. But I found a new use for it. My husband lost his left arm and wears a brace on his right hand due to the war in the Middle East, when we would have burritos from the Mexican restaurant, he had such a hard time picking up and putting down the burrito without everything falling out. He wants to stay independent and hates asking me to put the filling back or just picking the burrito up for him. So one night we had burritos for dinner, he mentioned he wished there was something that would hold his burrito upright so that he could put his food down while he needed his right hand for something else, like using the napkin or taking a sip of his drink. He saw the push up measuring cup on the counter and put the foil wrapped burrito inside and there was his burrito holder. As he ate, he could push the burrito higher as he ate. I know this isn't what the measuring cup was meant to be used for, but if it makes my husband feel more independent and "normal'', I'm all for it. Thanks OXO and Amazon.
