I'm 5'3", 155lb and after having 3 kids, have a mom pooch. This makes finding dresses that hide my tummy difficult. I had my reservations about this dress but it hit every mark! It was very flattering as the wrap/tie portion sits at the top of my rib cage, much like an empire waist. You can also adjust the sizing so it fits a variety of body types. The angles and ruffles create movement and draw attention away from your midsection. The material was light and airy enough that I could wear it to an outdoor event in 90+ degree weather. It was slightly sheer if I held it up to light but because the wrap doubles the material, it was a non-issue. I wore dark undergarments beneath the blue dress and you couldn't see them. The Large fit me perfectly and made the dress length hit just above my ankle. The Medium fit my body but the shoulders/chest were too tight (I have a 38" bust for reference). It hit at mid calf for length. I ended up ordering it in more colors because it was so pretty and comfortable.
