I've yet to get it to work. UPdate, works fine now
Update: WHile It didn't work right out of the box, I have since figured out my problem. It seems that Chrysler changed protocols a few times over the years and my particular car uses SAE J1850 VPW, the auto configuration did not work on any of my apps . Initially, I Plugged it in, paired the device, but it wouldn't connect to my ECU. I've tried two different apps, a multitude of different adapter settings within Torque and it appears to be a paperweight. I've been trying to find literature on the OBD2 connector in my car, a 2005 sebring convertible, so that I can ensure that it has power at all the right pins, but haven't found the documentation yet. I won't have time to mess with it again until sometime next week. Obviously, I am frustrated and not pleased with my progress or the product. The other issue I had was that I was starting the car before it connected. You must turn the ignition to one click before the start/crank position, after selecting the proper protocol. Now it works great, but still lacks the 2 things I'd really hoped for in the application.... An oil pressure reading and an oil temp reading. I do get a coolant temp reading with an alarm, so I'm hoping it will help me chase down my overheating issue, (which I think was caused by a loose oil filter... now I've got a mess of an oil leak, but another trip to amazon.com and some UV dye will help me solve that too. Thanks amazon for providing me with tools to learn automechanics in my old lady years.
