I’ve had many lightweight puffers but was needing a new one since my others had gotten pretty worn out. I need something that I can travel with easily and has minimal space requirement for my suitcase. I am 5’8” and 180lbs (carry most of my weight in my hips) I got a large in this and could have gotten an XL. I am going to keep the large as I live in the South and really don’t need anything super heavy or to wear anything heavy under it. I think if you carry more of your weight in your mid section I would consider sizing up. Sleeve length is good on me and overall length hits right above my hips. If it was any longer I would had had to size up to accommodate for my curves. I love the fact that this jacket isn’t shiny like many of the other ones out there on Amazon. A nice matte black and the material seems to be good quality. Zipper as well seems well made. It is slightly challenging to get the jacket in the included bag, but it does fit. Also, when in the bag it is larger than others I have had and will take up slightly more space than I thought it would. For comparison I put a picture of it next to my husbands hat. The only thing that I don’t love about this jacket is the zippers on the pockets. THey used the small zipper pulls (see picture) whereas I would much rather have something more durable to hold on to. I also feel like I might have issues with these zippers sticking or getting material caught in them in the future but this has yet to be seen. All in all really pleased and I think this will be perfect to keep in my car or suitcase for the fall and winter.
