Got this today so can't say how long it will last BUT my cats love it already. I put it up, took the box to the trash and came back and they were already goofing around on it. It's pretty sturdy. The white thing at the top is spring based so holds really well. We have 3 cats, 1 won't play at all it the other 2 are going nuts!!! LOVE IT. Posted a pic. Wouldn't let me post videos Update: Had this 6 months - my cats LOVED it. Today... the dog thought it would be a great idea to try and climb it and well... now it is trash. We are ordering another one. Like some of the previous posts the bottom piece where the cats scratch the most does look a bit ragid now but this has been our cats most favorite hang out and they run through the house and climb that thing 200 times a day, sometimes with 3 cats on it all at the same time. It has held up great! Update on 2nd one - purchased 6 months after the 1st one. Got it today, installed in about 5 minutes. Exact same product but there is a difference in color from the other one. It's a little darker tan then the 1st one but the cheap material is the same. Posting pictures of the new one showing the color difference and what you can expect the old one to look like after about 6 months. Despite this only lasting 6 months I still give it 5 stars. It's $40 man. If you want something to last years expect to pay a ton more and I think it lasting years is gross. Cats are nasty lil creatures ! Our cats totally love this thing and to see it shredded means that's what my couch or curtains would have had to endure so I consider it a score!
