KIND OF UNBELIEVABLE
I sometimes see reviews that sound ridiculous to me, and now I am in that situation. About 10 years ago, I had surgery for radiation cataracts (from a job in my 20s, 22 years prior). Afterward I find out that some % of people, a lot, experience a film that needs to be lasered away, usually 2-5 years after the surgery. In August 2018 I had an eye exam because I kept wiping my glasses as if there was a thumbprint. The Dr said he saw the film in one eye and asked when I had the cataract surgery (I hadn’t told him but he could see). He said I was going to need the laser procedure at some point. Ok, fine, I had read about it. Fast forward to April 2021. On a new insurance plan, so I go for an eye exam so it will be their Dr saying I need the procedure, so hopefully it will be covered. Well, he said there is no evidence of the film. Then I realize, hey, I have not been wiping my glasses constantly. I am not sure how else to explain the disappearance of the film except by taking this astaxanthin daily for the past year or two. That is my story, as kooky as it may sound. I have not been taking any other specific eye-health support supplements.
