First thing to mention is that if you plan to use a fountain pen it will bleed through to the back of a single sheet of paper. Best to have a slip cover and let the ink dry before closing. Ball point pens and Gel pens do not have this issue (or at least the ones I've tried). All pens you use will show presence of ghosting on the back which may be an issue for those who write on both front and back pages The paper is of good quality and is very smooth to write in. You pen glides across the paper really well no little or no friction.Only issue with it as mentioned before in the intro. Leather-like cover has a very nice texture to it. Love the size of the notebook as it's very comfortable to hold and feels very personalized with the given dimensions Elastic band is very secure, no issues with it so far Book-marker ribbon very basic. Stays attached, no complaints Love the back pocket for keeping misc items that you may not want to tape onto the notebook or squeeze between pages Product placement is very subtle with the Amazon Basics logo embossed in back. The print is very small and you don't really tell it's there unless you look for it. Overall, very good notebook if you don't mind the ghosting. Would be great if they added numbered pages and table of contents for the next edition.
