It is exactly as other reviewers describe - and thanks to their enthusiasm, I'm happy to say I purchased it myself. This thing is absolutely mesmerizing. Very few products live up to the hype, and the Touchstone 50" Onyx electric fireplace hit it out of the park. So let me give the nuts and bolts: It showed up sooner than expected, was flawlessly packaged, was out of the box and tested in under 5 minutes. I waited until the next day to wall mount it, which took all of 10-12 minutes with the help of a magnetic studfinder/level ($8 on Amazon), pencil, and a drill with a 1/4" bit. So yeah, easy to install (but get a friend if you cannot comfortably lift 40-50 lbs on your own). It cranks out serious heat, so I'm super happy that the flames and heater can function independently, because I've been sitting in 90 degrees all day with this thing on just so I can watch the flames. I'll try to post a video to support this review. The flames are spectacular and realistic, and particularly stunning at night. If you're thinking about it, do it. You will NOT be sorry!
