I researched read many reviews about these LED lights. I bought about 30 of this 32.8ft from this seller. The reason is that it has 600 LED lights, instead of 300 like from other sellers. Most of these lights you can cut at every 3 lights (roughly 3"). This means that the lights from this seller, you can cut at every 3 inch, but lights from other sellers, you have to cut at every 6 inch. This makes harder to align them with almost exactly where you want them to be. I agree with other reviewers that the backing tape will not be good enough for the surface such as ceilings, but I used silicone on the back of them for all my projects. They will be there until they die on me. See attached video on how I attached them to the ceilings.
