I don't write reviews anymore, because of SLAPP lawsuits. A SLAPP suit is a "Strategic Lawsuit Against Public Participation" and is designed to prevent negative reviews. In short, if I don't like what you write - even if it's true - I can sue you, and you then must bear the expense of defending yourself. That said, I was bitten by a spider. The fang marks, accounting for swelling, we're 1/2 inch apart, so it was a good sized hobo spider that I had disturbed while cleaning. The swelling was about the size of a 1/2 dollar coin. I put AAA antibiotic on it, and it killed the pain, but did not treat the bite. I bathed the site with alcohol, both good ideas to prevent infection, but not very effective treatment, since spider venom responds to neither. Then I put drawing salve on it. I had heard good things about it, but had never used it. In less than 8 hours, the swelling was gone, and the inflamed tissue was down, and noticeably less red. At 12 you the bite was on the mend, and no longer itching or spreading - something the other treatments failed to control. I strongly recommend this product. It has lived up to the hype.
