The show is good, not exactly from the books but that is too be expected.
Some of my favorite early moments were cut because otherwise the pacing would be too slow for TV. The show is significantly more adult than the books. I would say that it is scarier, but less unsettling. The point being that This still feels like wheel of time to me, despite the changes.
