Finally, a cookie press with metal parts where you need them most...
Anytime we have made cookies using the press that we've had for a few years, it has been a chore due to the press slipping from the plastic part where it is supposed to click into place, and every cookie took 5-6 angry clicks instead of a single easy one. Do that for 6 dozen cookies and you'll only make cookies twice a year, or less. For our child's third birthday party, we made some cookies using that press and it was decided that enough was enough. While searching Amazon for a replacement cookie press, preferably one that didn't have any plastic parts where it counts, we came across this Marcato Biscuits Cookie Press and added it to our watch list. When it dropped in price we quickly jumped at buying it to replace the other one. This Marcarto cookie press utilizes metal parts in the places where you need it, which should make it last a lifetime. It also comes with 20 different shaped discs that can be used for making a variety of cookie styles. To date we have used this press to make churros, from an online recipe, using the star shaped disc with the pump in the free-flow (non-clicking) mode. We plan on making plenty of cookies in the future with ease. If you're looking for a sturdy cookie press that is built to last a lifetime, then this Marcarto Biscuit Cookie Press should prevent the cookie from crumbling.
