My condolences
My condolences to you if you are dealing with a gnat infestation. Here is my advice:
Fruit flies
1. Create a vinegar trap, lots of resources online about how to do this
2. Place the yellow sticky trap onto the side of your vinegar trap
Fungus gnats
1. STOP WATERING YOUR PLANTS, let them dry out completely and wilt a bit
2. If you can identify the source of the infestation consider throwing that plant away or at least separate it from everyone else. If you can see larvae in the soil THROW IT AWAY it is a lost cause
3. Place a yellow sticky trap in the soil of each plant including those that are not yet infested, and also place a yellow sticky trap anywhere you notice bugs for example near your windows or sink
4. Once your plants are extremely thirsty and near death, water them with a mix of about 1/4 hydrogen peroxide and 3/4 water
5. Continue the hydrogen peroxide treatments letting them totally dry out in between for the next 2-3 waterings
6. Avoid over watering in the future especially during fall
Good luck, you will get through this!
