I took a vacation to the Cayman Islands and went scuba diving multiple times, and was incredibly excited to put this camera through its paces. In short, it far outperformed my expectations. WHAT I LIKED: • Took fantastic video and photos. I have absolutely zero complaints about image quality. • Included accessories were tremendously helpful, especially the extra battery. • Menus were easy to navigate, and on-board features like image stabilization and rotation were very useful. WHAT I DIDN’T' LIKE: • The waterproof housing is a non-standard shape, and thus won't fit with GoPro filters for deep-water diving. Not exactly a deal-breaker, but worthy to note for serious scuba divers. • The LCD screen didn't show great image quality. It was useful for lining up a shot, but don't expect to see fine detail like fish unless you're very close to the subject. Again, not a deal-breaker. I was immensely happy with the presence of an LCD screen in general. VERDICT: It's not hard to see why we now have 2 of these cameras; DBPOWER absolutely cannot be beat for the price and quality. For buyers who just aren't privy to shelling out $300-400 on an action camera, this one is a solid deal.
