If you are a Looney Tunes fan, as are most Baby Boomers (and just about everybody else), then this app seems to have just about everything you could wish for in a Looney Tunes fantasy app! You get to live vicariously through your favorite Looney Tunes character. Who wouldn’t want to spend a few minutes taking on the role of the ultimate American Hero, Bugs Bunny in the app version of the classic cartoon shorts? The classical episodes, such as “Wabbit Hunt,” are there. The classic visual and verbal stunts are there. And the classic jokes aimed at adults are there, too. You have up-beat music, impossible-to-kill characters (they just keep regenerating), and the bright and vibrant colors of the Looney Tunes gang. And yes, it really is free. As you play the game, you run along the road, earning coins. You can stockpile the coins you earn, or you can use them to buy “boosts” in the Looney Tunes store. Everything you buy is purchased with money you earn for doing well when playing the game. You don’t buy the coins, you just keep playing the game and racking up the points, and the coins pile up. You can – and should- repeat levels to earn more coins by choosing different paths. If you perform some special tricks, you will be directed off to an expert path, where the challenges and rewards are even better than on the normal road. As you repeat levels, you improve your skills, thus adding to your ability to earn coins. Be sure the read the on-screen Helpful Tips. They will give you clues on how to earn more points. You also get to spin for additional prizes, and win additional coins for doing well. I’m going back to the game now so I can finish enough levels to be the Road Runner!
