I read through most of the reviews and the majority of the complaints were that the ball does not empty entirely some times not at all.. I had this issue with my first two loads but after my trick I haven't had this issue since. 1)Fill your washer with your clothes 2)Fill up your dispenser to desired amount and pull the lid closed 3)When you place the dispenser in the washer make sure it is at the very top of your clothes, This is the most important part 4) Place the DownyBall UPSIDE DOWN. So far this has worked in emptying the entire DownyBall. Hope this helps
