This little heater didn't look like much on the shelf at the store where I bought it--plastic casing looked flimsy, and I worried it wouldn't last. The 3-year warranty, however, gave me a boost of consumer confidence, and I decided to give it a shot. When I got home and took it out of the box, I was disappointed. The casing indeed looked flimsy, and I expected the unit be bigger, especially in terms of depth, based on the dimensions of the box. I was surprised then when it turned out to pack quite a punch! It warmed up its surroundings immediately, and I ended up leaving it on all night--it kept the room comfortably warm all night. It doesn't seem flimsy at all any more--just a lightweight unit that does a surprisingly good job! With confidence borne of the 3-year warranty, I'm entirely satisfied with my purchase. I'm glad I took a chance on this little heater.
