My dogs have been spoiled to where they have to sleep on a bed of some sort. I got tired of waking up with less bed than when I fell asleep the night before. Surprisingly, the bed is firm enough to hold my heaviest dogs weight (68lbs) but soft enough to take shape to how they lie down. The memory foam can be removed and the outer bed can be washed in the laundry (or so I did). The side walls are stuffed with your everyday filling and can be fluffed to get their shape back during normal use and after drying. If your dog chews, then expect them to tear through the side walls with the filling.
