Purchased because my neighbor leaves her dog out for several hours letting her bark non-stop and mean non-stop never reprimanding her to stop. Many neighbors came to me to talk with her about it to control her dog to stop it and she did nothing leaving us all furious not being able to be outside in our backyards. Her dog has a beyond high pitch bark and is relentless barking non-stop and I mean non-stop that we hear in our houses when she is at work with the dog alone all day long. I myself have two dogs that do bark when they see people, but know dogs bark at that or when they play being totally normal. Received it just an hour ago and it did need a charge, but could hear the very soft Ultrasonic sound in my ear. My two dogs were in my backyard and wanted to try it to see if it really did work once they ran to the gate to bark at someone walking by. Did it work? The answer is YES!!! Just like all other dog training I said their names and “no” and they ignored me. I said that again and pushed in the training button for a quick try and their heads turned and looked at me instantly and stopped barking. Did same thing wanting them to come in giving them a command to “come” and they just looked at me again. Like barking names and command given and a brief press on training button and they both ran to me instantly coming inside. Totally unbelievable and know it is not cruel by any means being the reason I put it by my ear and knowing how dogs hearing is compared to ours. What we hear at 20 feet they can hear at 80 feet learning that from taking every dog I ever had to training classes. I know it was being sold for barking, and know from going to training classes they can be used for dog training too. Why I never tried one a very, very long time ago is beyond me with what it just did stopping them from barking and responding instantly to a command given. I don’t plan on using it for training with them already being trained, but will if they get stubborn outside like they can at times. Will this solve my neighbor from being an irresponsible pet owner allowing her dog to bark in her backyard having no care or consideration for all the neighbors. Definitely yes and I will now train her dog to stop her excessive and mean excessive high pitched barking that never stops going on for hours and hours. I will now be able to let my dogs out without the malay her dog starts, no more of my grass being destroyed from her dog running back and forth along the fence. Plus, my one dog is short and stocky and have a inflatable pool in the backyard, having to constantly fix punctures on the one side of the ring. I always wondered why that one side only and seen why. When I had my dogs out it was standard procedure for her to let her dog out and never stop the barking. When my dog was in the side of the pool not seeing her and hearing her bark he put his paws up on it to see her putting punctures in it. I am in awe how it worked the very first time and surprised it was not more expensive. Remember all dogs bark and that is 100% normal and don’t use it for occasional barking when they see someone walking by or when playing, and basically use common sense. I know they make barking collars and to me those are not humane giving the dog a shock of static electricity every time they bark. Lastly, a dog that is left to bark excessively by their owner not being responsible the longer it goes on the harder that bad habit is to stop. Just like she waited to long getting a barking collar that was useless only making her dogs face have a strange look every time she barked and got shocked by it only to keep barking. I will update this review when her dog is out barking at me or any of my neighbors non-stop, but know for sure this is the 100% humane solution. Then all my neighbors and myself can once again enjoy our backyards again like we used to before getting this dog that was a puppy allowing this never doing a thing with zero care or concern about her neighbors.
