It look me about 2 weeks to find the steps I wanted to get for my small dogs. I needed steps that where not in the way and would allow my dogs to get all the way on my bed without needing to jump. These steps are great! I did lots of measuring since a lot of the steps that are for sale say large but are really pretty short. A bed with a mattress and bed spring is pretty tall. There is a slight forward tilt to them so the steps are very easy to use. I have a 16 year old chihuahua that will RACE up the stairs to get there fastest at bedtime. The carpet is definitely a good thing to have on these stairs though I think rubber padding would have been better. Sometimes I am afraid that they will slip they run so fast. The steps were pretty easy to put together like a giant puzzle but make sure you double check all the pieces before putting it together because if you did it wrong it is hard to take apart. These steps are not strong enough for kids so keep that in mind. Overall these are awesome and worth the price.
