(giraffe added for scale) Our Miku is a little powerhouse! The live breathing is pretty amazing and doesn't lag at all, so we're amazed by the accuracy. It can even read breathing rate through a blanket!! So, five stars. Nothing needs to be connected to the baby. Its very easy see sleeping - the waves get very even. That's probably the biggest difference for us. I can check in from anywhere I have phone signal -- I keep my phone on my desk --but the picture is a more jumpy remotely. Warning, keep on your sound settings because your phone will start crying, barking and talking in meetings. Setting up, I had some issues , but once software got updated it was working like a charm and the customer service guys were helpful. We really like the sleep sounds, too. Drowns out the random street noises and the speakers sound pretty good! It's not cheap by any stretch, but we're very happy with it because we're not getting up constantly anymore.
