We had a huge infestation with Japanese Beetles in our back yard. It was terrible. We had a new lawn that was nearly destroyed by these bugs. In their larvae form they were eating the roots of our newly layed grass and then when they emerged they were eating our neighbor's fig tree that draped over onto our yard. It was awful. I purchased a spray that would kill the adult bugs and these Milky Spores to help eliminate larvae and future problems. I'll have to review this product again next year as for now I don't know if it is working. Although my grass has returned and looks great so I'm going to assume the stuff works. UPDATE: Three years later and no problems. I'm so glad we purchased this. While we continue to see Japanese Beetles (neighbor's fig tree attracts them), we have had no problem with them ruining our grass.
