I am a cook and an engineer. I have been searching for single-piece (no welds) solid stainless steel cups that are accurate and these are the best. I measured with a gram scale and water (1g/ml) to verify the cups and all of them were within 3%. I checked the cups that I had been using and they were 10% small. I cannot believe the other reviews that complain about the chain being in the way. It is for shipping. No one should ever expect to measure with 5 other cups attached. The edges are nicely de-burred, no sharp edges. All 6 cups nest so tightly that they don't take any more space than the single 1-cup.
