I bought this tape to protect a small chicken yard (about 40x60 feet) from red-tail hawks after we lost one chicken. It was very easy to install and is strong enough to be strung between trees over distances up to 70 feet. I put a half-twist in each strand to make sure it would twist and flash in the slightest breeze. So far so good. I sometimes hear hawks calling but have not seen one swoop down toward the chicken yard. The tape has been in service for about a month so I don't know how long it will stay brilliant but it's easy to replace and not expensive to buy so I'm not concerned about longevity.
