Prime the pump with a few squeezes before insertion to avoid really loud wooshing noises as it expels air first. Stop before the bottle is totally empty, also to avoid really loud noises. Don't be afraid to use two bottles worth per side or more as needed. Place a few drops of a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and rubbing alcohol in the ear after you are done to avoid infection. This process is described in the instructions. This is a very good product!
