What this seller doing is fraudulent! The listing is for outdoor rated CAT6 Ethernet cable but what they are really selling is outdoor rated CAT5e cable instead. They probably figure since most customers buying this cable won't cut the ends off and verify what they actually have no one will be any the wiser as to how they were ripped off! What they didn't plan on is some of us have decades worth of experience in IT and we sometimes buy shorter lengths of cable to make a couple of cables instead of having to buy 500ft/1000ft spool of cable for small projects! This is cheaply made outdoor CAT5e because its missing the plastic spline separator, 24AWG conductors, and the twist rate per inch isn't correct! The only good thing about this cable is its solid copper conductors rather than the cheaper copper clad aluminum conductors that some people dupe people into buying that ends up causing major problems when trying to use it with POE installs! Even though the cable is cheap, in this case, you really don't get what you think you paid for 😠
