Stop looking at other machines this is the machine you are looking for. If you are looking to buy your first 3D Printer: This is the printer you should get. If you already have a 3D printer and looking to add to your collection: This is the printer you should get. If you have another printer but it is not very good: This is the printer you should get. If you are debating whether you should get an Ender 3 or this machine: This is the printer you should get. You are not going to find a better printer at this price point. Period. This machine is actually underpriced for the quality it outputs. I bought my first 3D printer over a year and a half ago after doing extensive research (as you are most likely doing now) I purchased an i3 Mega. I was very excited to enter into this new area of 3D Printing. Set up took all of about 10 minutes if that. Everything was packed securely and did not have any damage and they include a ton of extras in the box including a full roll of filament (not like these other companies that only give samples) which is actually pretty decent filament. I started my first test print which were owls on the SD card and I probably watched every single line laid down with pure astonishment. The prints came out so neat and clean, I showed them to everyone. By this time I was hooked. I started printing things off the internet for fun and joined the facebook group where I got a lot of support and made a few good friends. Although this machine performs extremely well there is still a learning curve when getting into 3d printing and it helps to get advice from others. After I got my feet wet for a couple of months I decided to buy another 3D printer (an ender 3). I was also excited to get that as well but that excitement faded pretty quick. I also joined the facebook support group and had a lot of fun with the members but that machine was just not as I had hoped for and had too many issues. Fast forward a year and a half later I now own 14 printers including 2 Anycubic Chirons and 3 more i3 megas. I am now in the process of replacing 7 of those machines with all i3 megas as most of my other machines are just a headache to deal with and do not produce the quality of the i3 mega. The i3 mega is virtually maintenance free. I literally hit print and walk away before it even starts printing. I have never done anything to this machine other then change the nozzle and install TL Smoothers. Never even put on different fan ducts. Never had any problems. Like this one all my i3 megas are stock (except TL Smoothers) without any issues. With that being said, as I write this my very first i3 megas power supply burned out. I came to amazon to locate the replacement power supply but it was unavailable. So I contacted support. Well actually I posted on the facebook group asking questions on where to get it and support actually contacted me! The lady I chatted with was extremely pleasant to talk to and just made me much more happy in my choice to continue supporting this company. Within a few minutes she pulled up my order and said she has issued me a replacement power supply! Now that is some awesome customer service! (Some companies take a few days to get a hold of, but not Anycubic). I am very happy with my i3 megas and very glad I chose to start my 3D printing venture with this machine. Had I started with something else in this price range I might not still be doing 3D printing as this requires virtually no troubleshooting other then the 3d printing process learning curve. The quality this machine outputs is amazing, The prints are clean and smooth (as long as you have your settings right in your slicer). The hotend never clogs and flows very nicely. The fans are a bit louder then others but they have not burned out yet and I print on these i3 megas constantly. The ultrabase is amazing as well. No tape, no glue, no hairspray literally nothing and barely ever needs to be re-leveled. Just wait for it to cool and the print literally slides right off. To be honest I can not find anything wrong with this machine at all. Well maybe except the words on the top bar of the gantry. I keep telling myself I am going to cover it with vinyl but I never do, but that doesn't affect the printer at all lol. I can not recommend this machine enough if you are a beginner, experienced or even looking for the right machine to build a farm at an affordable price. Choose the i3 mega. You literally can not go wrong and will not be disappointed.
