Kensington seems to have hit a home run here! Everything you wish the UBG case was, this is! Only adds a half pound, has a silicone strap when you want to share and present to coworkers or small groups that keeps you from accidentally dropping it and testing the military grade drop test rating! It has a tight holder for the pen. The case doesn't interfere with the type cover being removed or connected. The backside has a non-slip soft silicone material so it won't slide off flat surfaces from small pets or on slight inclines from gravity. All ports are are accessible and venting on the case matches the venting on the Surface Pro 4 to keep insulation effect to a minimum. There is even a small corner silicone strap to keep the type cover from flapping open during transport and handling. Very satisfied with the superior design so far! I had to order directly from Kensington as Amazon supply was out of stock at the time I was searching for a case. The only drawback noted so far is the soft silicone picks up hair and dirt but it will wipe off with a simple hand swipe...it doesn't stick like Velcro...so minor gripe and worth the non-skid trade off. I added a black carbon fiber patterned 3M skin from Skinomi to the backside of the Surface to match and protect from scratches and they go perfect together. Will update review after a month or so of daily use at work to see how it holds up!
