You think large amounts of protein and you immediately think of that chalky taste. You can feel it on your tongue at the thought. It's not a cringe, but it's not not a cringe. You push the feeling aside because you know deep down that you won't find such a large amount of protein in one serving. It's for the gains, you think to yourself. So you bite the shotgun. Well, forget what you think you know about protein. These chips are delicious! The Ranch flavor literally reminds me of Cool Ranch Doritos, except they aren't as thick. I have chip cravings often. And the fact that it's literally a one minute walk to buy some doesn't help. These help satisfy that craving. Healthily, I might add. I don't see where the chalky reviews are coming from, but I can only speak for my taste buds. It's a 5-Star for me. I can't ding a full star on the packaging because I'm more concerned about the actual taste. Keep in mind they do come packed in a box labeled "Quest" and that's it. No padding or wrapping or anything. So you may get a bag or four with broken chips. Many, many broken chips. But the taste. The taste. The taste!
